Application:

The cation exchanger is mainly used to soften raw water and allow reverse osmosis or electro deionization systems to operate efficiently.

The mixed bed ion exchanger is used for deep desaliMBtion after reverse osmosis. It is gradually being replaced by electro deionization equipment as its disadvantages include chemical pollution and complex operation.

Early saltwater and ultrapure water were treated with mixed ion exchangers. With the emergence and wide application of RO reverse osmosis membrane technology and EDI electrode-ion technology, the use of mixed bed is gradually reduced. But in special applications (such as the electronic semiconductor industry, the nuclear industry...) Electronic grade mixed bed and nuclear polarizing bed are the only options. Regeneration-Schritte:

Folding operation

The system has two types of water inlet: softening (softener treatment of water) water inlet and initial desalination (reverse osmosis treatment water) water, respectively controlled by their respective control valves.

At run time, start out salt water inlet control valve, water inlet valve, water production valve, other valve should be closed!

Mixed bed

Fold the backwashing

Shutoff valve, water production valve;

Open the backwash inlet valve and reverse drain valve, and wash 15min at 10m/h.

Then, turn off the backwash water inlet valve and reverse drain valve.

Settle and settle for 5~10 min.

Open air valve and drain valve, partially drain to the surface of the resin layer 10cm, close the exhaust valve and the center valve.

Fold the regeneration

The inlet valve, the acid pump, the acid valve and the center valve are regenerated with 5 m/s, 200L/h to the Yang resin. The resins are cleaned with reverse osmosis water and the liquid surface of the column is 10cm on the surface of the resin layer.

To Yang resin regeneration after 30 min, off inlet valve, pump, acid into acid valve, open the backwashing water inlet valve, alkaline pump, valve into the base, to 5 m/s, 200 l/h for Yin resin regeneration, clean with reverse osmosis water production of Yang resin, liquid level to maintain the column in the resin layer on the surface of 10 cm, regeneration of 30 min.

Fold replacement, lipid, rinse

The pump, the base valve, the water valve, the upper and lower water to replace the resin, cleaning.

After 30min, the water inlet valve, backwash water inlet valve, the center valve, open reverse drain valve, inlet valve, exhaust valve, pressure 0.1~ 0.15mpa, air volume 2~3m3/(m2· min), mixed resin 0.5~ 5min.

Turn off the drain valve and inlet valve and settle for 1~ 2min.

Open the water valve, wash the discharge valve, adjust the exhaust valve, and fill the air in the column without air, close the air valve and flush the resin.

When the electrical conductivity reaches the requirement, open the water valve, close the drain valve and start making water.
